Transformers 3 Michael Bay

Transformers 3 had already gone into pre-production. Michael Bay has been indeed convinced to deliver the movie on July 1, 2011. Shia LeBeouf and Megan Fox are of course reprising their roles as Sam and Mikaela respectively, but according to the rumor, Michael Bay would like to get rid of Megan Fox in this new Transformers sequel.

Now here, a few words from Michael Bay himself about Transformers 3, it comes from a secret video available on the Blu-ray of Transformers ROTF:

As usual Michael Bay wants is teasing the fans claiming he's telling lies. But that Transformers 3 will show more of Bumblebee and that it will develop the robot characters generally sounds quite reliable to me! Ant that's fine with me as long as there is still as much action in Transformers 3 as there was in the previous movies.

Transformers 3 Unicron?

Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been talking about the movie Transformers 3. From what he says, looks like the studios do intend to release the film in 2011 even if the timing isn't ideal for Director Michael Bay. Di Bonaventura can't imagine Transformers without Bay so I guess the studios will have to put a lot of cash on the table to change Bays' mind.

When asked about the possibility of introducing Unicron in the movie Transformers 3, he answered to IGN:

"Unicron worries me because it's so big that it dwarves emotion. It's so hard, because when you're working to that scale, it sort of becomes outside any kind of human reality you have. It's obviously a great character, and one that we're definitely going to talk about, but for me personally - and I'm not the only vote here - that one scares me. Because of its size, it becomes sort of impersonal when it gets to that scale. [...] And for me that worries me because I like the human characters."

Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura has been also praising the Mini-Crons stating that they're really cool.

So the giant Unicron (who is of the size of planet) most likely won't show up in the movie Transformers 3. But we may have the Mini-Cons!

Transformers 3 Movie

Transformers 3 MovieDirector Michael Bay must be someone very confident because he is already planning Transformers 3 even before the official release of the second opus.

Well, confident, he can be: hardcore fans and the broader public are eager at following a Transformers movie franchise.

Transformers 3 isn't exactly official as of now, but it really seems to be waiting in the wing. The news about Transformers 3 leaked online via Dark Horizons:

Transformers 3
On the upcoming release schedule for Germany, it appears that a second ‘Transformers’ sequel has already been scheduled for June 29th 2011.

Of course both Michael Bay and Shia Labeouf are keeping their lips tight. So we can but speculate about the plot of Transformers 3, the sequel to Transformers Revenge of the Fallen.

I am sure that Transformer 3 will be a blockbuster if it is released. But it will be hard for Michael Bay and his robots to monopolize the spotlights: so many good movies in 2011!

Any idea about a plot Transformers 3 should follow? Or about the villains in Transformers 3?
